The team of the project consists out of students from the University College of Groningen (University of Groningen, The Netherlands): Adam, Zulima, Isabel and Kik.
The project is led by Dr. Oksana Kavatsyuk.

Dr. Oksana Kavatsyuk is assistant professor at the University College Groningen (UCG), University of Groningen (The Netherlands). She is teaching various mathematics and physics courses at the University of Groningen and tries to share her passion for STEM subjects with her students. Currently, Dr.O.Kavatsyuk is a Cluster Coordinator for the Interdisciplinary AI learning line at UCG.

Dr. Oksana Kavatsyuk did her PhD in nuclear and hadron physics. Later she contributed to various medical physics projects related to cancer radiation therapy (carbon and proton radiation therapy). As a teacher, Dr. O.Kavatsyuk tries to provide a high quality and up-to-date education. This includes creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment for all students and engaging different learners. Dr. O.Kavatsyuk is very interested in how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects can be taught in a more inclusive way. She leads a team of lecturers and students, exploring how all students regardless of gender could be encouraged to explore their talents to their full potential in the domain of STEM. For school teachers in the Netherlands there is a possibility to do a PhD project in physics or educational sciences with us. The Dutch funding agency NRO has funding for this type of projects: https://www.nwo.nl/onderzoeksprogrammas/promotiebeurs-voor-leraren). |

Isabel
I am a Physics undergrad student interested in particle physics research. I am motivated to create a change in the scientific community and promote inclusive and intersectional environments. |

Adam
Hi, I am Adam and at UCG I am combining social science with natural sciences. I am interested in what exact policies and improvements can help make the education system more gender inclusive, for example such as the university mentoring programme. Also, I am working on the website to make the to help the teachers with improving their practices. |

Zulima
My name is Zulima and I study Liberal Arts and Scienes. I’m interested in finding out how gender dynamics in society work within the STEM fields in order to inflict change for young women that can be referents for future generations. Building from education, big progress can be made! At the moment I am working in the research by developing the website and the workshop for teachers in inclusive practices :) |

Kik
My name is Kik and I study Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment at the UMCG. I am a big believer in standpoint theory, and that diverse scientific teams ultimately drive innovation and strengthen their fields. As such, I am investigating some of the causes of the "leaky pipeline" that push women out of STEM fields - starting from high-school systems. I am also looking into advice for parents to support their children in STEM. |
